This is a great little diner worth stopping by. The building is nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Best of all our food was delicious. Classic diner food the way it should be, fresh, big portions, and very flavorful. My wife got the Hillbilly BBLT with bologna, egg, bacon, lettuce and tomato and it was a flavor bomb! I got the philly and was not disappointed, lots of meat, grilled onions and cheeeeese. Also the bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of decorative donkey items in both the men's and women's restrooms which makes this place a 5 outta 5.
If you are headed to Lake Ozarks, I can share a secret. The best hamburger at the Lake is located a few miles West of Camdenton on 54 highway! I'm a truck driver, so I know the best places across the Midwest. The double cheeseburger I just ate ranks #1 on my list for flavor!! It was so filling, I barely managed to eat it. My only suggestion is they need select fries to match the quality of the burgers they make. If they made home cut fries, the traffic will need to park on the highway shoulder to order their food. GREAT place to eat! I'll be back for more...
It's not much to look at from the outside, but a great meal at a good price, what more can you ask for?!?!?! We love their fish and chips, their shrimp and heard others love the burgers. Their Philly cheeesteak and the Au Jus are delicious. Don't drive past, but do drive in. :) Enjoy!!
always consistent. taco salad fresh and ground beef not greasy. French dip great, and tenderloin. trying it all and no regrets yet. wish there was tater tot's but will not keep me away.
